The Personal Intelligence Blueprint is a reusable context profile for an AI assistant. Begin by telling the tool who you are, what your business does, and the goals you are pursuing. Ask it to interview you for any missing details it needs to serve as a business coach, then answer those questions and correct anything inaccurate. Save the resulting profile in the tool's memory only after checking the tool's privacy controls and deciding the information is appropriate to retain. On later assignments, explicitly ask the assistant to use the blueprint. The mechanism is simple: richer, stable context reduces repeated briefing and gives the model more relevant inputs, which can make its recommendations and writing more specific to the user and business.
Origin
Alicia Little described this method on Aspire with Emma Grede as a way to give an AI assistant enough context to act as a more informed business coach.
Core principles
- 01Useful advice depends on relevant context
- 02A conversation can uncover missing information
- 03Stored context makes future outputs more personal
- 04Privacy settings should be checked before sharing business information
How to run it
- 1
Set the coaching goal
Tell the AI who you are, what your business does, and that you want it to support you as a business coach.
- 2
Invite an interview
Ask the AI to identify and ask the questions it needs in order to understand you and your business.
- 3
Review the blueprint
Have the AI assemble its understanding into a personal intelligence blueprint, then correct gaps or errors.
- 4
Store approved context
If the tool and information are suitable, ask it to retain the reviewed blueprint in memory.
- 5
Apply it to future work
Reference the blueprint when requesting an article, strategy, or other recurring task, and update it when the business changes.
In the wild
A business owner answers the AI's questions about her audience, services, goals, and voice. After reviewing and saving that profile, she asks for an article that uses the Personal Intelligence Blueprint rather than giving the tool only a topic.
→ The draft reflects the owner and her business more closely than an unbriefed request would.
Common mistakes
Asking for strategy without context
A request such as 'help me grow my business' gives the assistant too little information to provide specific advice.
Saving unreviewed assumptions
If incorrect details enter memory, later outputs may repeatedly build on them.
Ignoring data controls
The guest advises checking each tool's privacy settings before supplying business information.
Is it for you?
Best for
Entrepreneurs who repeatedly use the same AI assistant for strategy, writing, or planning.
Not ideal for
Sensitive or regulated information that should not be entered into the selected tool.
